Karen received her B.S.N. from the University of Akron and was a critical care nurse for eleven years in the Akron area. She returned to college to become a Certified Nurse Practitioner and received her M.S.N. from the University of Akron. She joined the team at The Spine and Pain Institute in November of 2010. She is very committed to treating and relieving patient’s chronic pain issues.

Karen enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 young children. Her interests include camping, gardening and her multiple pets.
